June Training Camp Details >:D

are yall eggcited for camp >:D

this year's camp falls on the 5th to 7th June 2014. Please fall in in FULL GUIDES UNIFORM (socks at least 4 fingers high, hair pinned up, berets in pockets, scarf neatly tied, hair tied into plaits and sprayed, badges polished and correctly pinned, nails of appropriate length, etc) at 7:30am sharp on 5th June, Thursday.
For roll calls, Sunflower Patrol is to fall in under Hannah QM and Oriole Patrol under Seow Khim QM. All of you should know your respective PLs and PSs by now!
You guys should also read up on shoe rack and clothes line gadget making before coming for camp and make sure you are familiar with the knots.

so now here's the packing list and groupings!
your valuables should be placed in a ziplock bag (labelled with your name) and to be surrendered when we ask for them.

Packing List
Each guide is to bring their own meal bag containing plate, fork, spoon and a mug. It should be labelled with their names, and group name, in permanent marker and to be waterproofed.
Each group is to bring 4-5 huge cardboard pieces and 3 stacks of newspapers to line the inside of tents.

NOTE: Indoor and outdoor cooking menus are standardised.

The theme for Indoor Cooking is SATAY BBQ !! Every group is required to bring CHICKEN satay along with any other food while the theme for Outdoor Cooking is Fried Rice so discuss within your groups and bring as much food as possible okay and make sure there are sufficient food for everyone :D

remember to check through thoroughly and bring every item stated in the list!

On 28th May 2014, we'll be having our Passing Out Parade ((YAY))!!!!
Please fall in at the concourse 3pm sharp, in full uniform. Your attire is expected to be up to standard, please refer to the uniform checklist to make sure that your attire is perfect (: Please have your lunch before coming for CCA. See you all this Wednesday, rest well! ((:

21st and 23rd May activites :))))

Hello Guides! :)

On 21 May, please fall in at the concourse at 3pm sharp in Guides half uniform. (Have your lunch before coming for CCA)
All to bring your dance outfit that is to be worn on POP during your performance. Patrols to bring materials for mealbags, flag, identity or anything for camp discussion! Last but not least there is indoor cooking!!! :D The theme is 'Noodley Woodley' so please discuss what food to bring within your patrol hehe

On 23 May, Sec 1s please fall in at the concourse at 3pm sharp in Guides half uniform and read up on shoe rack gadget making from your handbooks! (with cchms school shorts underneath)! Sec 2s fall in at the concourse at 215pm sharp for attendance to be taken by KahYin (please dont be late :))) EVERYONE to bring their Guides FULL UNIFORM (on a hanger and remember your berets, badges etc; sec 2s can hang them at the concourse before leaving for the course) Sec 1s do check the uniform checklist if you are still unsure of anything.

Please bring along a notebook and pen in your pockets at all times except during PTs!

EEC Course 16 May (change in timing) and 23 May (no change in timing)

Dear Secondary 2 Guides,

Please note that there will be a change in the timing for Energy Efficiency Course (EEC) for 16 May. The course is now from 9 - 11am at PSA Building instead of 3-5pm. Please note that there will be no transport provided. You can choose to meet directly at lobby of PSA builing at 8.50am or at labrador MRT at 8.40am.

Things required for 16 May: You must bring a calculator and a copy of your family's electricity & utility bill as you will be taught how to make some calculations and be given an assignment based on it.

The schedule for the second day of the course (23 May) has no changes. It will be from 3 - 5pm and transport will be provided. Meet at the concourse at 2pm and bus will leave by 2.15pm. There will also be a bus back to school, after which you will resume with normal Guides activity for the day.
