Reflections for 14th August!

The activity on 14th August was different from the other activities as we had Foosball initiative! In this game, we had to kick the ball into our opponent’s goal but within a restricted area. Teamwork was really important as we need to pass the ball to each other without interception. We had fun snatching the ball from one another but also had to bear the consequences of getting injured as Hannah had the tendency of kicking too hard and it hit my head once. I think that this initiative is really meaningful as it bonds not only patrol members together, but also the relationship between patrols and even both the coys. In the end for the juniors match dove patrol won! YAY J I feel that seniors had put in a lot of effort in order for us to have a fun game so thank you seniors! I hope there will be more of such initiatives in the future! J

Reflection for 2 August :)

On the 2nd of August, activity started off as usual. We greeted the seniors, had uniform check before doing row call. Subsequently, we drilled for a little bit before we went to the flagpole. There, we watched the seniors steady the large wooden pole in which the World flag is supposed to be hung. The seniors taught us how to set up the flagpole as we were already sec 2 and we had to learn how to do so on ourselves and not always rely on the seniors. :D After that, we had our 5-point test: HOME 2.1-2.2. It was about sewing a fruit.
We also learnt how to participate in a row call when you have the role of a patrol leader. It was really interesting. Overall, this guides activity was really exciting and I’m looking forward for the next activity!!  J
